In a busy world every minute counts and there is often very little time for an English language course. The Weekender is an excellent and enjoyable way to maximise time spent learning English.
The Weekender is an English language immersion experience for individual students over the age of 25 on any of our courses. It is more than a language course. English is spoken all the time with your own trainer(s).
There are four different options available:
- Option 1: 3 hours of individual tuition on Saturday, including lunch with your trainer
- Option 2: 3 hours of individual tuition on Saturday, lunch with your trainer and an afternoon excursion
- Option 3: 3 hours of individual tuition on Saturday and Sunday, including lunch with your trainer
- Option 4: 3 hours of individual tuition on Saturday and Sunday, lunch with your trainer and an afternoon excursion
People on the Executive Group or Combination Course (or any mature student on any course) can book our Weekender course. This course can be booked for a mid-course weekend, as an add-on at the beginning/end of a course, or as a separate stand-alone course.

Classroom sessions will explore business, current affairs and inter-cultural topics as well as preparing for and following up excursions planned for the afternoon. Excursions and social activities help participants to activate their English as part of the total immersion weekend.

- Enrolment
- This course must be booked at least 4 weeks before the planned start date.
- Accommodation
- Standard or executive homestay accommodation or hotel accommodation is available. Our partner hotel is The Express by Holiday Inn, just around the corner from the school and within easy walking distance of the city centre.
Students on all Courses for Business & Professional People will have free access to our new internet-based e-learning materials, before, during and for a 6-month period after their course.
