General English Courses for Adults

On our General English courses you can improve your competence and communicative ability in English in a relaxed and friendly learning environment. You also make new friends, discover new places and really live the language. There is a flexible course structure with different afternoon routes. In this way we can meet the different language needs of our students.

Our General English Courses aim to develop the ability to communicate effectively. All aspects of language are covered with an emphasis on developing your speaking and listening skills.

Course Routes

The following course routes are available for students on General English courses. It is possible to take options from different routes to meet your needs, depending on level and availability.

When you enrol on a General English Course with us you do not need to state which route you would like to follow. When you arrive in Chester we will talk to you about your English level, your needs and goals and help you to decide which afternoon options would suit you best. The routes outline the different choices of lesson available.
