Key English Test (KET), Preliminary English Test (PET)
Long term students on General English Courses are encouraged to take KET and/or PET exams. Exam preparation is timetabled but there is a supplementary charge of £60 to cover all KET/ PET examination fees. Test dates are on:
- Saturday 20 March
- Saturday 5 June
- Friday 3 December
IELTS and TOEIC Preparation
Students on the University Preparation Route (Route D) are normally prepared to take IELTS in May and December (and September, subject to demand). Students can also enter for IELTS independently at other times of the year. IELTS examinations take place at Liverpool University.
TOEIC can be taken at English in Chester on six Saturdays each year (dates and fees on application).
public holidays
Please note, on our courses there will be no lessons on public holidays in 2010: Friday 2 April, Monday 5 April, Monday 3 May, Monday 31 May and Monday 30 August.
Students on this course will have free access to our new internet-based e-learning materials, before, during and for a 6-month period after their course.
