Does the school organise excursions?

The school organises an optional social programme for you at extra cost. We offer full day excursions on some Saturdays, and half day events on mid-week afternoons/evenings. Click here for a sample programme.

Where can I go at the weekend?

There are lots of things to do in Chester at the weekends. Also within easy travelling distance are the large, popular cities of Liverpool and Manchester. If you like nature, the North Wales coast and Snowdonia are nearby. The office staff can advise the independent traveller. Don't forget to check what excursions the school has to offer!

Is Chester a good base for the independent traveller?

Chester is the perfect centre for the independent traveller. To explore Europe there are many cheap flights from our local airports. There are excellent air/rail/ferry connections to Ireland and many students go to Scotland or London for weekends.
