English in Chester is now a member of The English Network
For the last year English in Chester have been working closely with trusted colleagues around the country, sharing ideas and working together to improve the quality of service we provide for our clients. We are still independent and will continue to be so. We feel, however, that working with like-minded professionals and schools that we would recommend in England will be to the advantage of our students and clients.

The Queen in Chester
Our excited students managed to get a glimpse of The Queen as she drove past English in Chester on her way to Chester Racecourse today! The Queen is in Chester to honour soldiers from the 1st Battalion Royal Welsh. For more photos visit our Facebook page.
Volcanic Ash
In the last few months we, in common with other schools in the UK, have been inconvenienced by problems with volcanic ash. Click here for more information on English in Chester's volcanic ash policy.
Centre of Excellence
English in Chester was featured in an EL Gazette article on Centres of excellence in the April edition. The article was based on an analysis of the publishable statements connected with British Council inspections.
