Stay In Touch

23 January 2009: Confusing Words

Happy New Year to all of you and I hope it is a very successful one for everybody. The pound is lower against the euro so there is no excuse for not returning to Chester for another English course.

Some changes in the school, as you probably know Nigel Paramor has taken over as principal from Richard Day and in January Jo Whittick became Academic Manager as Harriet retired as Academic Principal. But don't worry, the school is just the same as before, the teachers are just as excellent as always, the office just as helpful and we guarantee that you will have a wonderful time if you decide to return to the school. Stay in Touch will remain the same as Harriet will be coming into school to devise the lessons.

I thought we might look at what are often called Confusing Words. These are words which look the same as another word but have a totally different meaning.
