It has been ages since there was last a Stay in Touch, and what I really want to know is if there are still people out there looking at the lessons, or whether there are now so many alternatives available that they are no longer necessary. So if you are one of the users who want it to continue then please e-mail the school and let me know. You can get in touch with Nigel and he will let me know. His email address is: nigel@english-in-chester.co.uk. It would also be useful if you could give us some ideas of the language areas you would like to practise.
Today, with spring in the air and everyone recovering from a very hard winter I thought we would look at some everyday expressions and responses. The first task is easy, so if you do it quickly and get all the answers right, go on to task 2.
The saying to remember this week is "The grass is always greener on the other side". We use it when we say that we always want what other people have because we think it is better than what we have.
Have a good spring and don't forget to let us know what we should do about Stay in Touch.
