10 August 2006: Food & Drink

Mathew did so well while I was away that I'm tempted to let him carry on forever, but the office is getting very busy and today we have all the speaking and listening exams in addition to everything else, so you can imagine.

My holiday seems a long time ago but the weather here in Chester is wonderful and everyone is happy and looking forward to the week end and the football starting.

We have a huge new flat screen in the common room and I think many of the students will be watching the matches there. Let's hope it all goes well and that the best team wins!

The saying this week is: You win some, you lose some. It means you can't be lucky all the time.

Have a good week and enjoy the football. Good luck to all of you doing exams at the moment.

Love from everyone at English in Chester.
