The beginners’ salsa lesson starts at 20:00 and the improvers’ lesson starts around 20:45. Both classes usually last for 45 minutes. After the lessons finish, mixed salsa music is played until 00:30 (one class £5, two classes £7).

The music played is a mix of newer salsa styles, such as funky salsa and salsaton, to the older favorites like Cuban and New York as well as some bachata, merengue, cha cha and kizomba music.

Chester Cathedral and Chester Visual Arts present ‘Our Colour Reflection’ by international artist, Liz West.  The installation uses hundreds of mirrors made of coloured acrylic to create vivid environments that mix luminous colour and radiant light.

West aims to provoke a heightened sensory awareness in the viewer through her works. She is interested in exploring how sensory phenomena can invoke psychological and physical responses that tap into our own relationships to colour.

    In 2018 we will be offering 2 new courses:

    - Development Courses for Teachers: we now offer one-week Professional Development courses for teachers. The aim is to stimulate teachers through exposing them to new ideas and techniques which they can actively employ to enrich their teaching.

    - Intensive IELTS Booster Course: all lessons on these intensive 2-week courses focus on IELTS examination preparation, designed to boost your IELTS score in the shortest possible time. Students on the General English with IELTS Preparation course may transfer to the booster course for the weeks prior to their exam if required.
