Homestay Accommodation

Homestay Application Form

Please complete the form below if you would like to become a host for English in Chester.

Our students choose to stay in homestays because they want to practise their English, therefore we can only consider applications from households where the language spoken at home is English and all members of the household have a demonstrable native-like speaker competence in English.

If your application is successful we will ask you for the contact details of 2 character referees that you are happy for us to approach without further authorisation. Referees will be asked specifically if there are any reasons why you or anyone in your household should not have responsibility for vulnerable people and young people under the age of 18.

We always interact with our students and make them feel at home. During your visit, our house is your home so relax and I hope you enjoy your stay with us.

Susan & Alan

We like to make our students feel part of the family, giving them the independence they want but the support they need when the time arrives.

Miriam

I love meeting people from all around the world and having lots of chats and discussions over dinner. It’s really nice to see students make a marked improvement in their language skills while they’re in Chester.
