700,000 people were on the People’s Vote march in London on Saturday. English in Chester owner, Richard Day and his wife, Patty, were spotted in the crowd! (We usually steer away from politics but these are unprecedented times!)
Richard Day and Gabi Maraver took part in Studyworld in London. This was a great opportunity to meet old and new partners from all over the world who promote English in Chester and the city of Chester as an English language learning destination. Thank you all for your time!
Her Majesty The Queen and Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex were in Chester for the official opening of the city's multi million cultural centre StoryHouse! It was a unique opportunity for our students to see the Royal Family and be fully immersed in British Culture!
Last weekend we welcomed the Spring TEN Fam trip! a great group of new and known ETOs from all over the world: Venezuela, Portugal, Turkey, Thailand, France, Spain, Russia, Estonia and Germany! During this trip they all had the opportunity to see all the TEN schools in Chester, Cambridge, Bristol, Brighton, Eastbourne, Portsmouth, Wimbledon, Bournemouth, Torquay and Muswell Hill (London).
Our Director, Richard Day has just returned from 2 weeks in Japan where he visited friends and ETOs in Osaka, Nagoya, Kobe, Fukuoka, Fukui and Tokyo. Great to see all these known and new faces!
