Examination Courses KET & PET

It is always valuable to take an internationally-recognised examination. This can help you in your work, study and career development. We offer a range of examinations at different levels to meet the needs of our students.

Key English Test (KET) & Preliminary English Test (PET)

Long-term students on General English Courses are encouraged to take KET and/or PET exams. Exam preparation is timetabled. The weekly timetable includes 28 lessons/21 hours of tuition, with 20 lessons on the General English Course, 4 lessons of afternoon options and 4 lessons in an Exam Focus group.

There is a supplementary charge of £60.00 to cover all KET/PET examination fees.

Test dates are on:

• Saturday 17 March (paper-based)
• Friday 1 June (paper-based)
• Friday 7 December (paper-based)
